Yatin R. Patel, MD

Dr. Yatin Patel was born in New York City but grew up in the suburbs of Los Angeles, California. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley where he graduated sum cum laude. He completed his medical school from The George Washington University, followed by an Internal Medicine residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Patel then attended the University of New Mexico Health Science Center where he completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is proficient in all diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including endoscopy, colonoscopy, small intestinal video capsule and biliary endoscopy (ERCP). When Dr. Patel is not caring for his patients he enjoys playing golf, tennis, volleyball and taking hikes.
