Charles M. Schron, MD
Dr. Charles Schron is originally from New York City. He completed his undergraduate, medical school and Internal Medicine residency from the prestigious Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Schron then completed his Gastroenterology and Hepatology training at the Yale University School of Medicine in 1984. Upon graduating fellowship, he took an academic position as an associate professor in Medicine and Gastroenterology at the University of Cincinnati. During the next ten years, Dr. Schron focused on clinical gastroenterology as well as education and research, publishing multiple articles in leading medical journals. Dr. Schron moved to the Phoenix area in 1993, where he founded Southeast Valley Gastroenterology. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He performs diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, colonoscopy, and small bowel video capsule endoscopy. In his spare time, Dr Schron enjoys traveling the globe with his wife and two daughters.
